CPB Market is the result of an initiative by professionals active in the CPB market and the authorities overseeing them, who decided to entrust CERT Market with operating the CPB trading platform.
Who are we?
CPB Market was created through the initiative of the biogas working group, which brings together industry stakeholders and public authorities (the Energy Regulatory Commission and the Directorate General for Energy and Climate). The working group selected CERT Market to develop and operate this marketplace. CERT Market also operates C2E Market, the energy savings certificate (CEE) marketplace. Like the CEE marketplace launched by the operator in 2020, its operations are governed by a steering committee, which includes representatives of its members.
